Captain Toad Treasure Tracker

It was also time for Toad to be in the spotlight! The next quirky adventure/puzzle/platformer title for the WiiU, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, will be released on December 5th.

With a colorful and eccentric world to explore, it looks like Nintendo is making the Wii U even more attractive this holiday season.

The gameplay was first introduced through the Adventures of Captain Toad minigame found in Super Mario 3D World, but will now take the form of a full-fledged adventure.



Characteristics:

- In which the basic objective is to navigate safely through various obstacles to reach all that wonderful treasure.
- Our Captain Mushroom has a unique take on the platforming genre as he has the ability to walk and run.
- But it doesn't have the ability to jump, instead it requires players to manipulate the camera to find all the secret corners on the map! The game uses the features of the Wii U GamePad.
- Because the player can touch the screen to manipulate the platforms as well as use the gyro controls to aim in certain sections of the game.
- With Captain Toad at the helm, this Nintendo spinoff offers a surprising amount of gameplay variation and should be a welcome addition to just about anyone who enjoyed Super Mario 3D World.
- Equipped only with a neck scarf, a backpack and an oversized headlamp,
- Captain Toad finds hidden gems, coins and power-ups on his way to the gold star at the end of each tricky and trap-filled stage.
