Going Under

Going Under is a satirical game about exploring the cursed ruins of failed tech startups.

As an unpaid intern in the dystopian city of Neo Cascadia, you'll use office trash as your weaponry as you make your way through the strange procedural dungeons beneath your company's campus.

Failed businesses don't just cease to exist, they sink underground and their employees are cursed to roam the halls for eternity as monsters.

Your job is to put these monsters out of their misery and recover their belongings so your boss can afford a new car or something.



Characteristics: 

- Flexible combat in Going Under's dungeons, almost anything can be used as a weapon, from laptops to brooms and body pillows
- Suitable weapons can also be found, but even these can break at some point if you're not careful
- If you plan to survive the stage, you need to play it safe and choose the right weapon for the situation
- In the bottom of the dungeons hide the founders of cursed startups, who get rich from investments while their employees fight among themselves



- Defeat them and return to the surface with their enchanted relics to empower the company you work for
- As you explore you will come across powerful abilities that change the way you play, learn them at the cafe and they will appear in future rounds
- If you use a skill often enough, it will be "approved" and available to start your expeditions
- Complete tasks for your teammates to gain influence with them and unlock their unique bonuses
