Ikai

Ikai is a first-person psychological horror game inspired by Japanese folklore, live the horror of the yokai who define it and immerse yourself in the superstitions of the past led by a unique story and exploration.

The game embodies the spirit of the classic psychological horror genre with a defenseless main character, unable to attack evil creatures, however, it explores a new sense of horror, making the player face threats directly, without running away or attacking.

Each game mechanic is meant to lift this relatively helpless feeling and create a tense atmosphere, the slow, precise and natural movements as a way of interaction resemble those in real life to encourage immersion in the strange world of Ikai.
