For the first time in the franchise, boss battles bring the party to life and challenge players to compete to defeat a common enemy.

In addition, players now travel through stages together in a vehicle to achieve a common goal - overcoming obstacles, fighting bosses and collecting Mini Stars stolen by Bowser™ and his minions.
