One day, a terrible calamity struck a peaceful kingdom. In the chaos that followed, people started cheating and backstabbing each other.

Their king used his powerful magic to rob humans of their ability to speak and cast himself into the Abyss. His daughter, the Princess, cried an endless flood of tears until they enveloped her in a giant crystal tear.



Many years after these events faded from memory, seven rainbow-colored lights flew from the Abyss.

These rays of hope appeared before the Princess manifesting as seven heroes, ready to answer the Princess's call for help.

Why did the king abandon his daughter and his people? And why did he steal their ability to speak?



Characteristics:

- Choose from a diverse crew of characters, such as the well-endowed wanderer, long-range archer or hard-hitting warrior, to find whose skills suit your playstyle and adopt new roles and abilities as you win more experience.
- Use crystals found throughout the Abyss to switch characters or return to Base Camp.
- Find new recipes and materials and return to Base Camp at the edge of the Abyss, where each character has a unique job. From the alchemist to the blacksmith and cook, each hero brings something different.
- Experience a new setting every time you enter the enigmatic Abyss, which keeps you on your toes every time you explore, and be on the lookout for Memory Rifts, where greater rewards - and challenges - await.
- The princess narrates every step of your journey, giving the feel of a fairy tale come to life - right down to the dark mysteries waiting to be discovered in the visually stunning underground world.
