Truberbrook

"Truberbrook" is a great mysterious adventure game set in rural Germany in the late 1960s. The player assumes the role of a young American Tannhauser physicist, who happens to reach the ancient village truberbrook, a beautiful resort somewhere in Germany's densely forested rural West.






Tannhauser, while working on his doctoral thesis, comes to Truberbrook trying to break a tiring mental jam. But something in this city seems strangely distant, as the superficial region of the German homeland is gradually evolving in an amazing mystery.






One of the most distinctive features of the game is its unique visual style: the whole landscape and all backgrounds will be built as real miniature models captured by photogrammetry, digital polished, and then mixed with animated characters, visual effects and set extensions. Gameplay wise, Truberbrook is a point and click adventure game with a modern approach.






The mood and atmosphere of the game are inspired by TV series such as Twin Peaks, The X-Files and True Detective. The game combines German folklore with a SF-FI story that covers universal themes such as love, friendship, loyalty, root, self-discovery and dinosaurs.
