Velocity 2X: Critical Mass Edition puts players in the role of Lieutenant Kai Tana, pilot of the prototype Quarp Jet.

Nefarious tactics send Kai Tana and her teleportable Quarp Jet into a galaxy ruled by the evil Vokh, a tyrannical race of aliens who believe they have the divine right to rule the universe.



They have created an army by enslaving other races and are looking to make humanity their next conquest.

Kai Tana must free the enslaved races and use his Quarp Jet to stop the Vokh before they discover his secrets and invade Earth.
